Tyese Little enters her 3rd season as Head Varsity Coach in 2025. During her first year at Bell, the Lady Raiders completed an exciting season and made the playoffs.
Coach Little arrived in Dallas in 2004 to attend Dallas Christian College. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and Minor in Bible while playing volleyball, basketball, and soccer for the Lady Crusaders. Little was a 3 time All-Region and All-Conference honoree in volleyball and helped lead the team to its first NCCAA Conference Championship. In 2021, she earned her Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership at Lincoln Christian University.
Before arriving at L.D. Bell, Coach Little was the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach at Dallas Christian College from 2012 to 2023. Over the course of Littles’ collegiate coaching career, she led the Lady Crusaders to their first NCCAA DII Southwest Region Championship in 2020. The Lady Crusaders then won their second NCCAA DII Southwest Region Championship in 2021. Her team has made 3 NCCAA DII National Tournament appearances (2015, 2020, 2021).
She was named NCCAA DII Southwest Region Coach of the Year in 2011 and 2015. Little earned the 2020 AVCA Diversity Award. The AVCA Diversity Awards Program is a platform for showcasing leaders that positively impact the sport of volleyball every day. She has coached at Integrity Volleyball Club from 2015 to 2018.
In addition to her role as Head Coach at DCC, she also served as the Resident Director of the Women’s Dorm from 2015 to 2023, Admissions Counselor, and a variety of areas in the Student Development Department.
Coach Little’s home town is West Columbia, TX where she graduated from Columbia High School. She was a four-sport athlete (volleyball, basketball, tennis, and soccer) and was a part of the marching and symphonic band.
She has a heart for mentoring young women and a passion for volleyball. Coach Little and her husband, Jon, have three children, Adalyn, Amelya, and Malachi.
